Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT focuses on relationships between our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.  Our emotions and behaviors are influenced by our perceptions of events (the way we think about an event).

CBT is an evidence-based therapy used to treat a wide range of disorders including depression, anxiety, panic attacks, PTSD, low self-esteem, grief and loss, relationship difficulties and stress to name a few.  CBT focuses on identifying, challenging and changing maladaptive thinking that can keep us stuck.
